Cleansing Crystals

Cleansing in the crystal world usually means clearing whatever has built up around a stone, a space, or your own sense of things. Some people do it weekly, some monthly, some never. There's no wrong approach.

The classic cleansing stones are selenite and clear quartz. Selenite is often used to clear other stones by placement. Clear quartz is worked with more actively, for intention setting and general reset. Kyanite is another one, and unlike most stones it doesn't usually need to be cleansed itself.

A cleansing practice doesn't have to be elaborate. Sunlight, moonlight, running water (for water-safe stones), sound, or a night resting on a selenite plate. Whatever works for the stone and your routine.
