These are A-grade Amazonite polished hearts from Amboasitra, Madagascar. Amazonite is a microcline feldspar; trace lead and water in its structure produce the turquoise-to-sage color. Each heart runs 1.00-1.50 inches at Mohs 6-6.5, fully natural and untreated. A favorite stress relief stone for desks and gifting.
Amazonite is a cool mint-to-teal green, sometimes streaked with white. It's a variety of feldspar, and the color comes from trace lead and water in the crystal structure. Soft-looking even when it's well-polished. It has been used in jewelry and ornamentation for thousands of years, including in ancient Egyptian artifacts.

Amazonite sits at 6-6.5 on the Mohs scale, about as hard as glass, so it handles daily use but will scratch against harder stones. Keep chemical cleaners away from it; they can etch the surface.
