These are AA-grade Celestite raw crystals from Sakoany, Madagascar, sold by the piece or by the pound. Celestite takes its name from the Latin for heavenly, after the soft sky-blue of its natural crystals. Each piece runs 0.25-0.75 inches at Mohs 3-3.5, fully natural and untreated. A favorite stress relief stone for meditation spaces.
Celestite grows in delicate sky-blue crystals, usually inside a geode. The color is unmistakable and the crystals are soft, which is why most of the pieces we carry come from geodes where the crystals are protected.
This piece comes from Sakoany, Madagascar. This is a softer mineral (3-3.5 Mohs). Dry storage, gentle handling, and don't let it knock around with quartz or tourmaline.
Its name comes from Latin 'caelestis' meaning 'heavenly.' Most commercial celestite comes as distinctive blue crystal geodes from Madagascar.
Those who work with celestite often turn to it for quiet, steady calm, winding down and settling into rest, and a simple anchor during practice. It's traditionally linked to the throat and crown chakras. If that resonates, hold it for a few breaths before a conversation that matters. How you use it is up to you.

Celestite sits at 3-3.5 on the Mohs scale, among the softest stones we carry, so handle it gently and keep it dry. Long soaks dull the surface, so keep any water contact brief and dry it fully.
