Named after the city of Fuchsite; known to mineralogists since the 19th century.
We bring these raw pieces in from Mashonaland West, Zimbabwe. This is a softer mineral (2.5 Mohs). Dry storage, gentle handling, and don't let it knock around with quartz or tourmaline.
In the tradition, fuchsite shows up most often around gentle, patient care for yourself, coming back to yourself with kindness, and working through difficult feelings at your own pace. It's traditionally linked to the heart chakra. If that resonates, set one on a shelf where your eye lands on it during the day. Trust what feels useful and leave the rest.
These are traditional associations drawn from historical practice. This stone is not a substitute for medical or mental health care.
