These are AA-grade Red Jasper tumbled stones from Sofia, Madagascar, sold by the piece or by the pound. Red jasper has served as a carving and talisman stone across human history, prized for its dense, even color. Each piece runs 1-1.50 inches at Mohs 7, fully natural and untreated. Red jasper is a deep brick-red chalcedony, sometimes with dark matrix veins running through it. It's opaque, evenly colored, and takes a polish that reads almost like glass.
