These are AA-grade Rhodonite hand polished stones from Ancash, Peru, sold by the piece or by the pound. Rhodonite is a manganese silicate in rose pink veined with dark manganese oxide. Each piece runs 1-1.50 inches at Mohs 5.5-6.5, fully natural and untreated. A favorite emotional healing stone for gifting.
Rhodonite is rose pink marbled with black veins of manganese oxide. The contrast is the point. Smooth, pink, and grounded all at once.
We bring these tumbled stones in from Ancash, Peru.
Rhodonite takes its name from the Greek rhodon, meaning rose.
Rhodonite has long been used in practices around working through difficult feelings at your own pace, opening to connection, with yourself and others, and coming back to yourself with kindness. It's traditionally linked to the heart and root chakras. If that resonates, set one on a shelf where your eye lands on it during the day. There's no single right way to carry it.

Rhodonite sits at 5.5-6.5 on the Mohs scale, about as hard as glass, so it handles daily use but will scratch against harder stones. Keep chemical cleaners away from it; they can etch the surface.
