These are AA-grade Rhodonite tumbled stones from Midlands, Zimbabwe, sold by the piece or by the pound. Rhodonite pairs rose pink manganese silicate with striking black oxide veining across each stone. Each piece runs 0.75-1.25 inches at Mohs 5.5-6.5, sourced through our artisan network. A favorite self love stone for pockets and gifting.
Rhodonite is rose pink marbled with black veins of manganese oxide. The contrast is the point. Smooth, pink, and grounded all at once.
Rhodonite takes its name from the Greek rhodon, meaning rose.

In the tradition, rhodonite shows up most often around working through difficult feelings at your own pace, opening to connection, with yourself and others, and coming back to yourself with kindness. Rhodonite sits at 5.5-6.5 on the Mohs scale, about as hard as glass, so it handles daily use but will scratch against harder stones. Keep chemical cleaners away from it; they can etch the surface.
