These are AA-grade Rose Quartz raw crystals from Minas Gerais, Brazil, sold by the piece or by the pound. Rose quartz owes its soft pink to trace titanium, iron, and manganese in the quartz lattice. Each piece runs 1.50-2.50 inches at Mohs 7, fully natural and untreated. A favorite love stone for bedside tables.
Rose quartz is the softest pink in the quartz family. Not a bright pink, more like the color of a cloud at sunrise, sometimes translucent, sometimes cloudy, always warm to look at.
Ancient Romans and Egyptians used rose quartz facial masks, believing it would prevent wrinkles and keep skin clear.
