These are AA-grade Rose Quartz raw crystals from Alaotra-Mangoro, Madagascar, sold by the piece or by the pound. Rose Quartz is pink silicon dioxide, its blush tone owed to trace elements and microscopic fiber inclusions. Each piece runs 1-2 inches at Mohs 7, fully natural and untreated. A favorite emotional healing stone for crystal grids.
Rose quartz is the softest pink in the quartz family. Not a bright pink, more like the color of a cloud at sunrise, sometimes translucent, sometimes cloudy, always warm to look at.
Ancient Romans and Egyptians used rose quartz facial masks, believing it would prevent wrinkles and keep skin clear.

In crystal traditions, rose quartz is often associated with opening to connection, with yourself and others, coming back to yourself with kindness, and working through difficult feelings at your own pace. Rose Quartz sits at 7 on the Mohs scale, harder than a steel blade, so it handles daily carry and a quick rinse without fuss. The one thing that hurts it is sunlight: months in a bright window will fade the color, and it does not come back.

AA grade indicates good pink color saturation, natural raw crystal form with recognizable quartz character, and fewer fractures or pale patches compared to A grade material. These are noticeably deeper in color than standard rough Rose Quartz. Grades reflect visual quality within a batch. A is standard, with typical inclusions. AA shows stronger color, cleaner surfaces and tighter sizing. AAA is the top 10 to 15 percent of a batch. Every lot is inspected and graded by our team in Rockville, Maryland, not taken on the supplier’s word.
