These are AA-grade Rose Quartz tumbled stones from Vakinankaratra, Madagascar, sold by the piece or by the pound. Madagascar rose quartz is known for consistent pink color, and AA pieces balance saturation with clean surfaces. Each piece runs 1-1.50 inches at Mohs 7, fully natural and undyed. A favorite emotional healing stone for meditation spaces.
Rose quartz is the softest pink in the quartz family. Not a bright pink, more like the color of a cloud at sunrise, sometimes translucent, sometimes cloudy, always warm to look at. Ancient Romans and Egyptians used rose quartz facial masks, believing it would prevent wrinkles and keep skin clear.
