These are AAA-grade Rose Quartz tumbled stones from Minas Gerais, Brazil, sold by the piece or by the pound. Rose quartz is the pink macrocrystalline variety of quartz, and AAA material shows strong saturation with good translucency. Each piece runs 1-1.50 inches at Mohs 7, fully natural and undyed. A favorite love stone for gifting.
Rose quartz is the softest pink in the quartz family. Not a bright pink, more like the color of a cloud at sunrise, sometimes translucent, sometimes cloudy, always warm to look at.
This piece comes from Minas Gerais, Brazil.
Ancient Romans and Egyptians used rose quartz facial masks, believing it would prevent wrinkles and keep skin clear.
