These are A-grade Shattuckite and Chrysocolla raw stones from Kunene, Namibia, in a 1 to 2 inch size, sold by the piece or by the pound at 12 to 20 pieces per pound. Both are copper silicate minerals that form together in oxidized copper deposits, blending teal and turquoise in one matrix. Mohs 2-4 rising to 5-7 where silicified, hand-finished with jojoba oil, bought directly at the source. A favorite emotional healing stone for collectors.
Chrysocolla is a vivid turquoise-to-teal green-blue, often found with malachite or quartz. Shattuckite is the deeper cerulean blue that grows alongside it. Both are copper silicates, and on these pieces you can usually see where one gives way to the other inside a single stone.
These raw pieces come from Kunene, Namibia. Hardness runs Mohs 2-4 in the pure zones and 5-7 where quartz has silicified the material, so handle them with a little care, keep them dry, and store them in their own pouch so harder stones don't scratch them. Worth knowing: a lot of the chrysocolla on the market is stabilized with resin. Ours is not. It is finished with natural jojoba oil, which deepens the blue and teal already there and adds no color.
Those who work with chrysocolla and shattuckite often turn to them for working through difficult feelings at your own pace, quiet steady calm, and opening to connection, with yourself and others. They're traditionally linked to the throat and heart chakras. If that resonates, hold one for a few breaths before a conversation that matters. How you use it is up to you.

Chrysocolla sits at 2-4 (pure); 5-7 (silicified) on the Mohs scale, among the softest stones we carry, so handle it gently and keep it dry. Long soaks dull the surface, so keep any water contact brief and dry it fully.

Each piece measures 1 to 2 inches on its longest side and weighs 20 to 50 grams. About 12 to 20 pieces per pound at this size, and each option shows its piece count.
A grade means clear, readable color in both minerals with visible contrast where the Shattuckite meets the Chrysocolla. Some host matrix and paler patches are expected and normal on rough that has not been cut away. Grades reflect visual quality within a batch. A is standard, with typical inclusions. AA shows stronger color, cleaner surfaces and tighter sizing. AAA is the top 10 to 15 percent of a batch.
