These are A-grade Tree Agate tumbled stones from Francistown, Botswana, sold by the piece or by the pound. Tree Agate is a milky chalcedony with branching green inclusions; despite the name, it carries no agate banding. Each piece runs 1-1.50 inches at Mohs 7, fully natural and untreated. A favorite grounding stone for pockets.

A is standard, with typical inclusions. AA shows stronger color, cleaner surfaces and tighter sizing. AAA is the top 10 to 15 percent of a batch.
