What exactly comes in this crystal set trio?

Will my trio look exactly like the photos?

No. These are natural stones hand selected at packing from the same graded batch photographed, so shape, color depth and internal character vary piece to piece. The size, weight and grade stay within the stated ranges.

Are these stones dyed or treated in any way?

No. All three are natural and untreated. They are hand-finished with natural jojoba oil, which brings up the existing color and texture without altering the stone. Rose quartz color comes from microscopic fibrous inclusions inside the stone rather than anything applied to it, which is why the pink is cloudy and uneven. An even, glassy, candy pink is usually a sign of dye.

Why is Uruguayan amethyst different from Brazilian amethyst?

Amethyst from the Artigas district of Uruguay forms inside basalt geodes and generally runs deeper in saturation than Brazilian material. The visible difference is at the tip, where color carries through the termination instead of washing out to clear.

How should I care for these three stones?

Rinse in cool water and dry with a soft cloth. Keep the amethyst and rose quartz out of prolonged direct sunlight, since both fade over time. Clear quartz is unaffected by light. Avoid chemical cleaners on all three.

Is this trio suitable for someone new to crystals?

Yes. Amethyst, rose quartz and clear quartz are three of the most widely worked with stones, all from the quartz family at Mohs hardness 7, so they are durable and simple to care for.

What does a crystal grade (A, AA, or AAA) actually mean?

Crystal grades reflect visual quality within a single batch. Grade A is standard quality with typical inclusions. Grade AA shows stronger color saturation, cleaner surface, and tighter sizing. Grade AAA represents the top 10 to 15 percent of any batch: exceptional clarity, consistent color, and minimal surface variation.
