This is an AA-grade Rhodonite polished free form from Masvingo, Zimbabwe. Rhodonite is a pink manganese silicate veined with black manganese oxide, hand-cut to follow the natural shape of the rough. This piece measures 2.81 x 1.96 x 1.33 inches and weighs 201 grams at Mohs 5.5-6.5, fully natural and untreated. A favorite emotional healing stone for display shelves.
Rhodonite is rose pink marbled with black veins of manganese oxide. The contrast is the point. Smooth, pink, and grounded all at once.
This is a polished free form, cut and shaped by hand to follow the natural lines of the rough rather than forced into a symmetrical shape. Every face carries a different pattern of veining, which is why we photograph and list these individually rather than by the batch.

Rhodonite sits at 5.5-6.5 on the Mohs scale, about as hard as glass, so it handles daily use but will scratch against harder stones. Keep chemical cleaners away from it; they can etch the surface.
