Is rhodonite ever treated?

There is no standard color treatment for rhodonite. The pink and the black veining are both natural, and we do not use dyed material.

Does it stand on its own?

Yes. Free forms are cut with a flat base so the piece stands unaided on a shelf or desk.

How do I care for it?

Wipe with a soft cloth. Avoid prolonged water exposure since some calcium-bearing inclusions can be reactive, and keep it out of harsh sunlight.
