These are A-grade Rose Quartz raw stones from Erongo, Namibia, sold by the piece or by the pound. The pink here is natural, produced by trace titanium, iron, and manganese in the quartz lattice. Each piece runs 1-2 inches at Mohs 7, fully natural and never dyed. A favorite self love stone for pockets.
Rose quartz is the softest pink in the quartz family. Not a bright pink, more like the color of a cloud at sunrise, sometimes translucent, sometimes cloudy, always warm to look at. Ancient Romans and Egyptians used rose quartz facial masks, believing it would prevent wrinkles and keep skin clear.
