These are AA-grade Amazonite tumbled stones from Amboasitra, Madagascar, sold by the piece or by the pound. Amazonite is a microcline feldspar, a potassium-rich member of the feldspar group in soft turquoise to sage green. Each piece runs 0.75-1.25 inches at Mohs 6-6.5, fully natural and untreated. A favorite confidence stone for pockets.
Amazonite is a cool mint-to-teal green, sometimes streaked with white. It's a variety of feldspar, and the color comes from trace lead and water in the crystal structure. Soft-looking even when it's well-polished.

It has been used in jewelry and ornamentation for thousands of years, including in ancient Egyptian artifacts.
In the tradition, amazonite shows up most often around quiet, steady calm, working through difficult feelings at your own pace, and settling into who you already are. It's traditionally linked to the heart and throat chakras. If that resonates, hold one over your chest for a few breaths when you need to soften. Trust what feels useful and leave the rest.

Amazonite sits at 6-6.5 on the Mohs scale, about as hard as glass, so it handles daily use but will scratch against harder stones. Keep chemical cleaners away from it; they can etch the surface.

Each piece measures 0.75 to 1.25 inches on its longest side and weighs 5 to 15 grams. About 32 to 56 pieces per pound at this size, and each option shows its piece count.
Grade AA. Strong blue-green color, light natural white feldspar veining, clean polish. Grades reflect visual quality within a batch. A is standard, with typical inclusions. AA shows stronger color, cleaner surfaces and tighter sizing. AAA is the top 10 to 15 percent of a batch. Every lot is inspected and graded by our team in Rockville, Maryland, not taken on the supplier’s word.
