These are A-grade Rose Quartz crystal lamps from Minas Gerais, Brazil. Rose Quartz is pink quartz colored by fine fibrous inclusions, and polished lamp bases let light glow through the translucent stone. Each lamp runs roughly 3-5 by 3-5 by 6-8 inches at Mohs 7, sourced through a community partnership. A favorite love stone for bedside tables.
Rose quartz is the pink heart of the quartz family, its soft color coming from tiny mineral inclusions woven through the crystal. A hard, durable stone at Mohs 7, usually translucent rather than clear. Worth knowing: pale rose quartz is sometimes dyed to look more vivid. Natural rose quartz holds a softer, cloudier pink. We bring these in from Minas Gerais, Brazil.
