In Short

These are A-grade rose quartz crystal vases from Minas Gerais, Brazil. Rose quartz takes its pink from trace titanium and iron and forms in massive habit rather than faceted crystals. About This Rose Quartz

Rose quartz is quartz colored pink by trace titanium, iron, or manganese. It almost never forms the clean six-sided points people picture when they think of quartz. Instead it grows in massive form, in solid seams, which is precisely why it can be cut into something like a vase.

The cloudiness inside is normal and is part of how the color reads.

These are cut and hollowed from solid blocks sourced in Minas Gerais, Brazil.

Traditionally Used For

Rose quartz is the stone most people reach for first when the subject is love, and the tradition runs wider than romance. It is worked with for self-compassion, for softening after a hard stretch, and for repair. It is linked to the heart chakra.

If that resonates, keep it somewhere you land at the end of the day rather than somewhere you pass through.

These are traditional associations drawn from historical practice. This stone is not a substitute for medical or mental health care.

Care and Use

Sensitivity Low

Rose Quartz sits at 7 on the Mohs scale, harder than a steel blade, so it handles daily carry and a quick rinse without fuss. Keep chemical cleaners away from it; they can etch the surface.

Do

  • Use The Tube Insert For Water
  • Wipe Dry
  • Gentle Soap Only
  • Store Protected
  • Stable Room Temperature

Avoid

  • Chemical Cleaners
  • Prolonged Standing Water Against The Stone
  • Direct Sunlight (prolonged, can fade the pink)
