These are A-grade Ocean Jasper raw stones from Sofia, Madagascar, sold by the piece or by the pound. Ocean Jasper is an orbicular chalcedony found only along Madagascar's northwest coast, patterned with rounded orbs. Each piece runs 1-2 inches at Mohs 6.5-7, fully natural and untreated. A favorite emotional healing stone for meditation spaces.
Ocean jasper is a riot of orbs and swirls in green, pink, white, and rust. No two pieces look alike. It's only found in one place on earth, the coast of northwestern Madagascar, and the original mine has been worked out for years.
Our raw pieces are sourced from Sofia, Madagascar.
Named for its location on the ocean coast accessible only by sea.
Ocean jasper has long been used in practices around working through difficult feelings at your own pace, quiet, steady calm, and opening to connection, with yourself and others. It's traditionally linked to the heart and throat chakras. If that resonates, hold one over your chest for a few breaths when you need to soften. There's no single right way to carry it.
These are traditional associations drawn from historical practice. This stone is not a substitute for medical or mental health care.
A starting place for your own quiet practice.
