Raw means the natural form, what came out of the ground, sometimes with matrix still attached. The vast majority we clean and lightly polish ourselves, by hand with jojoba oil. No tumbling, no shaping. Most collectors prefer raw. A polished stone has been finished for you. A raw piece shows you how it grew.
