Protection Crystals

Protection stones have been carried for as long as people have carried stones. The idea isn't that the crystal creates a forcefield. It's that it becomes a physical cue for setting boundaries, marking intention, and staying aware of your own edges.

Black tourmaline is the best-known of the group. Obsidian, shungite, hematite, black onyx, and labradorite are the others most people reach for. Each has its own character. Tourmaline is steady, obsidian is sharp, labradorite is quieter and more intuitive.

A protection stone is usually kept close. In a pocket, by the door, on a desk, under a pillow. The placement is personal. The practice is consistent.
